The Sony HT-S20R is a 5.1-channel home theatre soundbar system that combines a 3-channel soundbar, two compact rear speakers and an external wired subwoofer. With 400 W total power output, it is built to provide separate front, centre, rear and bass channels for movies, TV shows and music.

The dedicated rear speakers add real surround channels behind the listening position, while the external subwoofer handles the low-frequency channel separately.
